Description of the work area:
As Support Analyst for EDI you will be part of our Sales Excellence department. As part of your role you ensure that the electronic data interchange (EDI) with our Customer is functioning optimally. With this you will support the organization's commercial operations by providing a reliable, efficient, and secure method for exchanging business documents electronically. In this role you will work closely with our digital IT and customer care teams across Europe. The role can be based out of Amsterdam (Netherlands) or Gyöngyöshalász (Hungary).
What will be your role in more detail?
- Implement and maintain robust EDI systems.
- Commercial Process Support: Integrate EDI systems with commercial processes such as order processing, invoicing, and shipping. Collaborate with commercial teams to align EDI capabilities with business needs.
- Vendor and Partner Coordination.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams on EDI processes and systems to make them grow about the process and the technicity and progressively become power users.
- Identify and implement improvements to EDI processes and systems.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports on EDI activity and performance. Use data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
Do you have what it takes? (requirements)
- Technical Skills:
- EDI Standards Knowledge: Understanding of EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML.
- EDI Software Proficiency: Experience with EDI software tools and platforms (e.g., IBM Sterling, SPS Commerce, GXS among others).
- ERP Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and their integration with EDI.
- Master Data skills and basic knowledge in ERP system.
- Data Mapping and Translation: Skills in data mapping, translation, and transformation processes.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to EDI systems.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams, vendors, and partners.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to assess and address EDI system performance and issues.
- Customer Focus: Strong focus on meeting the needs of internal and external customers.
