Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge and experience in the formulation and development of hair dyes, bleaches, and professional hair products. This role requires leading projects, driving innovation, and collaborating with various teams to deliver exceptional products.
Develop and optimize formulations for hair dyes, bleaches, and professional hair care products to ensure high performance, safety, and compliance.
Lead and manage color development projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring product quality and performance.
Research and identify new ingredients, technologies, and trends in hair color science to drive innovation.
Conduct thorough patent searches to assess freedom to operate and support innovation in formulation development.
Utilize instrumental measurements and analytical techniques to characterize and validate product performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product development efforts with business goals.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level team members.
Proactively contribute to the success of department by proposing innovative ideas, solutions, and improvements.
Master's in chemistry, cosmetic science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-7years of experience in the formulation and development of hair dyes; experience with bleaches and other technical products is a plus.
Proven track record of successfully launching cosmetic products to market.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to think strategically and drive innovation in product development.
