We are currently looking for an experienced Treasury/Accounts Payable Specialist to join our existing team in Amsterdam.
Responsibilities:- Handling daily requests from Transaction Managers to provide international payment confirmations by extracting SWIFT reports from the banking system
- Timely and proactive response to specific payment requests (not received or rejected payments) by resolving any issues together with our banks
- Collecting and processing invoices and other payment requests by daily updates of payment registers across several legal entities
- Performing validations of invoices by getting confirmations from owners of the invoice or expense claims
- Assisting in preparation of payments instructions in the banking system
- Supporting with bank balances reconciliation
- Other ad-hoc requests related to payments
- Assist with operational cash bi-weekly updates including monthly forecast
- Manage daily Treasury functions including producing daily liquidity reports
- Manage relationships with banking partners
- Assist in month-end/ad-hoc treasury reporting
- Assist on completing ad-hoc KYC requests
- Assist with automation relating to payment capturing and financial administration
This is a hybrid onsite position for our Amsterdam-based team.
Minimum Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Trustworthy individual with experience in working with different banking or payments systems
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of SWIFT payments and systems
- Proactive, accurate, attentive to details, and well organized
- Strong communicator in liaison with internal and external stakeholders such as banks
- Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and to deliver on time
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in English, knowledge of German or Dutch is a plus
