Your role in our shared journey

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by leading our accounting processes. You will deliver timely, accurate and thorough reports for our local finance function.

With your expertise, we will introduce new controls to ensure that reports across the EMEA region maintain the highest standards.

Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Manage retail revenue accounting and accrual processes across the EMEA region, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
• Lead reconciliation activities across retail, E-commerce, Marketplace, and Concession partner accounts, including balance sheet reviews and suspense account resolution.
• Oversee financial operations for ASICS stores, including cash/card receipt allocations and administration tasks to maintain accurate records.
• Supervise bank statement postings and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, verified, and documented.
• Maintain financial records in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring consistency and audit readiness.
• Drive retail environment optimisation initiatives and support system testing to enhance operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
• Prepare and deliver financial reports to external stakeholders, coordinating timely responses to audit and compliance requests.

You have the following skills:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher professional education) in Accountancy or Business Economics.
• 2-3 years of relevant working experience with proven knowledge of accounting functions and business processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Advanced skills in other Microsoft 365 programs is a plus.
• Experience with financial software packages, knowledge in SAP is considered a plus.
• Excellent numeracy skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
