Bliz is a Swedish performance eyewear brand offering high‑quality, technically advanced sunglasses, goggles, and helmets for sports enthusiasts and athletes. With a strong presence in cycling, skiing, and multisport communities, Bliz combines Scandinavian design with functionality to deliver products that balance performance, style, and protection.

Your role:
  • You will be responsible for delivering the targeted sales of sport products in the Benelux market by leading and coaching a team of three independent sales representatives and account managers, as well as identifying new business opportunities.
  • In addition to managing the team, you will directly handle several key accounts.
  • The role is both field and office based, requiring regular travel across the Benelux region to visit customers, attend internal meetings, and support your sales team. You will also participate in conferences, trade fairs, and exhibitions, including occasional overnight stays.
  • As Sports Sales Manager, you are ultimately accountable for achieving sales targets through the implementation and monitoring of sales strategies for Oakley and Bliz, ensuring alignment with the overall regional direction. You will work closely with Trade Marketing, Demand Planning, and Customer Service to guarantee optimal product visibility, stock flow, and sell‑through performance.
Main responsibilities:
  • Developing a strategic plan encompassing sales, brand, retail marketing and operations for the Benelux market;
  • Explore multiband opportunities within the sports / lifestyle market.
  • Setting and communicating sales targets through effective bottom‑up planning processes in conjunction with the General Manager.
  • Focusing sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers;
  • Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management;
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
  • Monitoring your team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets;
  • Direct responsibility for annual commercial contracts, setting & achieving targets, with selection of the best independent customers. Top Accounts.
  • Reporting on a regular basis to the General Manager a review of performance and forthcoming plans;
  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external including Clients, Commercial Marketing team, Credit Control, CIC Team.
Main requirements:
  • Speak Dutch, French and English.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in business related field or similar;
  • Have demonstrable knowledge of the Sports industry;
  • Able to operate in a global, dynamic and fast‑paced environment;
  • Have good client relationship and territory management skills;
  • Be a great negotiator with a good sense of self‑confidence;
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills;
  • Excellent PC skills including competent use of the Microsoft Office;
  • Hold a full, clean driving licence (essential);
  • Excellent presentation skills with a motivation for Sales.

The role is field & office based spending a considerable amount of time visiting customers, head office, and sales team in the field. It may also need to attend conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions. Depending on the size of area you cover, your job may involve some overnight stays away from home.

The physical nature of the role requires frequent and sometimes prolonged driving of a car, walking and standing during store or customer visits, lifting boxes and sample cases to and from customer locations, and preparing or packing merchandise or sales materials.
