As a Senior Developer, you will make yourselfindispensable in this challenging playing field!

The departmentresponsible for data acquisition, information management, and data deliveryrelated to the subsurface relies on a key team specializing in Geo IT research.This team collaborates with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders,including colleagues from various departments and a major client, the centralgovernment, for whom they develop and manage the BRO. State-of-the-art ITsoftware is essential for fulfilling these responsibilities.

As a developer, youwill be part of a Scrum team. Working closely with your team, you will focus onvarious functionalities and the architecture of a (sub)project, performing thenecessary tasks to deliver these projects. Additionally, you will collaboratewith stakeholders to assess the impact of changes in existing systems,contribute to refinements, and provide estimates for implementation andnecessary documentation.

• You have a completed HBO/WO education in ICT orComputer Science.
• You have at least 10+ years of workingexperience with:
• Java
• Microservices(Quarkus / Spring Boot) and associated development stack (Microprofile, JPA,REST, Jackson, etc.)
• Creatingmock-ups and demos
• XML/XSD,JSON and related tooling (e.g. SOAP UI)
• Automatedtesting (JUnit, Mockito, Cypress)
• Softwaredevelopment street (Tekton, Jenkins, SonarQube, GitHub, GitHub Actions)
• Additional requirements:
• Knowledgeof (non-sql) databases is a plus (PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis, etc)
• Experiencewith Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices
• Experienceworking with Jira, Confluence, Topdesk and GitHub Enterprise
• Experiencewith GEO standards such as GML and OGC
• Experienceimplementing Keycloak IAM in applications

You are a real teamplayer. This is expressed in the good sharing of knowledge through pairprogramming, whiteboards, and working under architecture. You have goodcommunication skills. You work accurately, pragmatically and result-orientedand you are a real go-getter, driven and with enthusiasm for the profession.You can handle confidential information well. You have a good command of theDutch and English language, both verbally and in writing.
