Job Summary
The transportation, logistics, and the trailer industry is undergoing a transformation that will last for several years. This is a unique opportunity to become a part of a new TIP Group venture whereby you’ll be shaping solutions to address the seismic changes in the industry; with the shared goal of electrification and digitization of logistics fleets and workshops across Europe as telematics specialist product manager. You’ll be a part of an enterprising and newly built team with an opportunity to set and define a new culture and ways of working with team members with both corporate and startup backgrounds.
In this role, as a specialist for vehicle telematics, you will be in the lead and responsible for discovery, user advocacy, user research, smooth integration of existing telematics products, and new product launches. Furthermore, you will be a key stakeholder in helping manage the backlog vis-à-vis telematics or related developments, and being a trusted advisor on incepting new features.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Communicate complex problems and their solutions in a clear and convincing manner adjusting to your audience.
- Support the development of new value propositions pertaining to telematics data.
- Collaborate with product team, existing telematics teams, and business stakeholders to gain insights and translate these into viable and implementable solutions.
- Conduct on-site usability testing to validate the solutions.
- Understand the importance of leveraging telematics data and are data savvy.
- Establish clear communication channels with other telematics experts.
- Determine and develop project changes.
- Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project or implementation.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable. Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
- Be a trusted partner for sales and GTM teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across disciplines and across Europe.

Qualifications/Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience within the field of telematics.
- Master's degree (or equivalent).
- Highly skilled in finding solutions to tricky workflow and process problems.
- Ability to communicate complex technical problems in a simple way to different audiences.
- Deep understanding and proficiency in applying heuristics, quantitative, and qualitative research methods.
- Experienced in collaborating in cross-functional and international teams.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Mandatory. Any other European language, specifically German, is a distinct advantage.
- Willingness to travel to stakeholders across the Netherlands and EU.
- Experience with Jira, Figma, Miro, a ticketing tool like Jira, Monday.com.
- Comfortable with taking initiative in an agile context.
- Team player, able to work and communicate closely with peers to reach common goals.
