Finance Controller Europe

You support i-Tail Europe.’s growth by coordinating all financial aspects of the business, ensuring strong controls, compliant processes, and high-quality reporting to HQ—while acting as a very hands‑on business partner to the General Manager and Sales. Key responsibilities:

• Ensure robust financial systems & internal controls to support i-Tail Europe’s goals and statutory/corporate compliance.
• Deliver timely, accurate, high-quality reporting for internal and external requirements (incl. Month‑end and Lucanet/group consolidation inputs).
• Lead financial planning: strategic plan, annual budget, monthly forecast and actuals; manage deadlines and targets.
• Provide performance insights vs plan, build/manage KPI‑monitoring, flag issues, and recommend solutions with Sales/Supply Chain/GM.
• Support commercial decision‑making: customer deals analysis, pricing/agreements follow‑up with factories.
• Run end‑to‑end accounting operations: invoicing & cash collection, AP/AR/bank reconciliations, intercompany & cash pool postings, payroll postings, expenses, VAT returns, and audit readiness.
• Own compliance topics such as corporate tax & transfer pricing documentation, payroll/wage tax correctness, and smooth internal/external audits.
• Help select and set up the i-Tail Europe accounting system and coordinate with Shared Services/ i-Tail Corporation controlling team (incl. Treasury topics such as capital structure and hedging).

• Strong education background in finance/business management.
• Proven expertise across management accounting, financial accounting, variance analysis, credit control, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Business‑minded: able to partner with general management and translate complex finance into clear actions for non‑finance stakeholders.
• Comfortable in a dynamic, changing, and ambiguous environment; proactive, resilient, and results‑oriented.
• English proficient. Dutch not required, but you must be able to communicate with
