Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst at Valtech, you are critical to the success of our collaboration with our clients. You will immerse yourself in their wishes and translate their input into a development assignment and optimize the implementation with the development team, in such a way that those clients can do their work even better.

In addition, you will:

1. Identify the business needs and recommend viable solutions to meet those needs and support strategic decision-making.
2. Find and identify stakeholders in complex ecosystems to define applicable ways of working and communication styles.
3. Produce user journey maps, process models, and other artifacts that help the team deliver according to the opportunity/challenge.
4. Define & manage the roadmap and the resulting project backlog with focus on short, medium, and long-term goals and value to the client.
5. Work with the development team (cross-functional) to prepare user stories for delivery.
6. Facilitate workshops and a variety of team ceremonies as required; sprint planning, backlog grooming, refinements, etc.

You are someone with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst. Turning the project vision and user experience into deliverables the team can work with is something that you feel comfortable doing.

1. Experience and confidence managing a variety of stakeholders across all levels within the internal organization and client's organization.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of workshop facilitation tools and techniques for a variety of project scenarios.
3. In-depth knowledge of project delivery principles (Agile and Lean), and the ability to explain and educate others on them.
4. Experience with the scrum framework and have worked within a (scaled) scrum team(s).
5. Track record of working closely with other disciplines involved in delivery; development, QA, Design, UX, User Research, and Data with a consistent business value focus.
6. Fluent written and spoken communication skills in both Dutch and English.
