About your role as an Assistant ControllerAs an Assistant Controller, you support the Group Controller in maintaining and improving the financial administration and reporting of the Madern Group. You will have a broad range of responsibilities and contribute to both daily financial processes and periodic closings and audits.
You will be part of the finance team in Vlaardingen, consisting of a CFO (responsible for the entire group), two Group Controllers, a Controller for Vlaardingen, and a Financial Administration Officer. Within this team, there is ample room for guidance, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
Your responsibilities as an Assistant ControllerPreparing and supporting general financial reports.
Creating and processing journal entries in the financial administration.
Supporting the monthly closing process.
Performing preparatory work for audits.
Reviewing and analyzing financial data.
Identifying improvements in processes and reporting.
Collaborating with colleagues within finance and other departments.
You report directly to the Group Controller.
