Together with its customers, Kekkilä-BVB brings performance to life. It is part of the Neova Group. For the Business Area G&C Materials, we are currently looking for a Supply Chain Planner.
The Supply Chain Planner works with the team to plan the supply of peat moss and coir raw materials to our production sites in the Netherlands and Germany, and directly to customers. Close coordination with S&OP, suppliers, customers, shipping companies and transporters is essential. Supplies are delivered by sea vessels, sea containers, inland barges and trucks. The role includes scheduling and booking sea vessels that transport peat materials from the Baltic countries and Scandinavia to Germany and the Netherlands.
Coir related tasks- Organize the import stream of sea containers from suppliers in Asia (India/Sri Lanka) to external customers and local production sites. Maintain daily contact with suppliers, forwarders, customers and site managers to coordinate upcoming container shipments.
- Handle invoices for shipped coir raw materials. After a full container load is shipped, process supplier invoices in D365 (posting) and Blue10 (payment). Register each container in the internal import planning for tracking & tracing purposes.
- Process forwarder invoices received after containers arrive at European destinations. These invoices are also processed in D365 and Blue10.
- Invoice external customers after delivery receipt when deliveries are made directly to them.
- Plan vessel deliveries to production facilities in Schiedam, Rotterdam, Papenburg (DE) and other global harbours. Create vessel plans for central peat deliveries based on the demand forecast from S&OP. Maintain close communication with suppliers, shipowners, forwarders and procurement.
- Plan vessel loading for external customers. Coordinate loading plans with customers and Neova Terra. Align internal and external vessel plans to avoid congestion and capacity problems.
- Manage administrative vessel planning processes:
- Create purchase orders for peat deliveries and logistics; process related purchase invoices.
- Create sales orders for peat deliveries and send invoices to customers, including both Kekkilä-BVB and external clients.
- Handle sales invoices for peat moss deliveries per truck from the Papenburg (DE) terminal.
- Process purchase invoices for activities and services at the Papenburg (DE) terminal.
- A completed higher professional education (HBO) degree or demonstrated higher professional education skills and thinking.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- A positive attitude towards change.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build internal and external relationships.
- Experience with negotiation and cost‑conscious work.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and make decisions under pressure.
- Proactive, hands‑on work ethic.
- Experience with planning, organization, and potentially project management.
- Excellent IT skills; knowledge of automation is a plus.
- Commercial mindset and customer focus.
- Team‑oriented approach and flexibility.
- Fluent Dutch and English; German is a plus.
