About the PositionAs a System Owner Engineer, you are responsible for the technical systems throughout their full life cycle. You ensure systems are safe, compliant, reliable, and ready for operation. The role includes on-call duty.
Responsibilities- Act as technical owner and subject matter expert for assigned systems
- Support system design, commissioning, and handover
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance according to standards and regulations
- Manage system changes, upgrades, and decommissioning
- Maintain system documentation and inspection readiness
- Support audits, inspections, and improvement activities
- Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
- Experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or food
- Knowledge of technical utility systems (heating and ventilation, compressed air, building systems, fire safety)
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
- Installation responsibility certification or willingness to obtain it
- Strong communication skills in English and Dutch
