As a System Administrator - Information Security, you take security engagement at Sioux Technologies to the next level. You are the link between Sioux (IT colleagues and internal clients) and the Security Operation Center (SOC). You work with the organization's ICT security guidelines and you are the specialist discussion partner for internal and external stakeholders. With your expertise, you advise the organization on making the best security choices within budgetary possibilities. You also create and increase awareness within the organization.
What will you do?- You will check information security in the organization, ensure proper registration, analysis, and reporting of information security and privacy incidents, always aiming for a good solution for now and the future.
- You will monitor information security risks and perform information security tests, reviews, and audits.
- You will provide advice and recommendations to management concerning information security and the risks involved. You will also raise security awareness, knowledge, and involvement of all your colleagues.
- You will lead the implementation of (procedural) security measures within the Sioux organization hands-on, together with colleagues.
- You will perform several System Administrator tasks.
You are eager to learn and people quickly click with you. You can easily build relationships with people at any level, even outside the Security and IT domain.
- You have the energy and drive, allowing you to handle setbacks and enjoy the achievements that are realized.
- You have at minimum a completed bachelor's degree in IT.
- You have knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 27002.
- You have about 2-4 years of experience as a (mid-level) Information Security Officer.
- You look beyond just the security domain. Therefore, your knowledge of security-related topics is up to date. Think of topics such as ransomware, phishing, and privacy legislation. You can also fall back on knowledge of business processes, application environments, ICT infrastructures, and the implementation of (procedural) security measures when necessary.
- If I say Cobit, ISO 27001, or ISO 27002, you don't look at me blankly, but you know exactly what I am talking about. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and CISA are also absolute nice to haves.
- You know exactly how to bring an implementation or change process to a successful result.
