Vacancy: Senior Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join a dynamic team of three senior professionals in a fast-paced, international environment. This hands-on role focuses on ensuring payroll accuracy, optimizing processes, and enhancing workflows - including leveraging a recently implemented Workday system. You will collaborate closely with HR teams and contribute to department-wide projects, offering excellent opportunities for professional growth and skill expansion.
Key responsibilities:

1. Oversee and execute daily payroll operations with precision across multiple countries.
2. Conduct regular checks, reporting, and analysis to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
3. Act as the operational point of contact for payroll providers, HR, Global Mobility, Finance & Accounting, and Tax teams.
4. Handle payroll-related inquiries, including salary, benefits, tax, and social security matters.
5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes.
6. Lead the payroll team.

What we’re looking for:

1. Knowledge of payroll processes and Dutch payroll compliance (including CAO).
2. Minimum 5 years of (international) payroll experience with an HBO-level working and thinking approach.
3. Strong expertise in Excel and experience with payroll software (preferably ADP).
4. Experience managing commissions, bonuses, and complex payroll structures.
5. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and collaborate with different departments (Finance, HR and Legal).
6. Detail-oriented with excellent multi-tasking skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a result-driven mindset and a hands-on approach to administrative and compliance processes.
8. Ability to meet multiple payroll and reporting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
9. Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
10. Highly organized, efficient, and able to take ownership of responsibilities.
