To start with, the position of Global Junior FP&A Analyst sits comfortably in the Corporate Finance (Global FP&A Team). An incredibly diverse team that helps each other learn, grow and develop. As a Global Junior FP&A Analyst you will be asked to cooperate with the Global FP&A Manager to drive financial performance of the company by making recommendations to optimize (financial) business performance. This includes providing support throughout the company regarding the month-end closing and performance analysis. For this, we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on your interpersonal skills as well as your drive for success. Know that you’ll have a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain. With this said, we like you to take responsibility over the following tasks:
- Under guidance of the Global FP&A Manager Reporting & Analysis, actively participate in month-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting;
- Working under supervision of Global FP&A Manager, execute comprehensive KPI analysis, encompassing revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures to identify trends and opportunities for improvement;
- Play a key role in preparing for key management team meetings, including the Executive Committee, by providing insightful financial data and analysis.
- Under guidance of the Global FP&A Manager Reporting & Analysis, execute the development of financial models to analyze various business opportunities and cost-saving initiatives, supporting decision-making processes and maximizing profitability.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or Accounting combined with 1-3 years’ work experience in Finance/ Consulting/ Banking. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with a keen interest in leveraging BI tools for enhanced analysis. You possess strong analytical skills and logical thinking (driving simplicity). You have exceptional interpersonal qualities, you’re pro-active, eager to learn and highly motivated to boost your career. You’re known as a team player and bring strong verbal communicational skills in English.
Additional InformationGlobal FP&A Team is residing in the JDE head-office in Amsterdam. This is a high-impact team, being close to the CFO and Executive Committee of JDE.
