Join us as Data Insights and Optimization Analyst Intern at our international headquarters in Utrecht, starting in September 2024. In this internship, you'll delve into our organization's dynamic Ecosystem to extract valuable insights. You will learn how to identify and emphasize high-impact data attributes, contributing to informed business decision-making.
Your key activities will be:
- Conduct a comprehensive inventory of data within our Ecosystem
- Analyze the usage patterns of different data attributes, identifying high-impact data fields and underutilized areas, and providing recommendations for strategic enhancements.
- Quantify the volume and significance of data points associated with each field, offering a comprehensive view of our data landscape
- Analyze the relation of data usage with the user profile (optional)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather additional insights and context about data usage and dependencies
- Document findings in clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualizations

Here's what we're looking for:
- Academic Program: You are enrolled in a BSc or MSc program for the entirety of the internship, preferably in Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
- Skillset: You possess strong MS Office skills and fluent proficiency in speaking and written English – Having some similar hands-on experience with food research activities is always a benefit.
- Personal traits: You have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.
- Commitment: You are ready to dedicate at least 5 months to this internship, preferably from the 2nd of September to January.
- Availability: You can join the internship for 3 - 4 days per week, including three days in-office and one or two days remotely, ensuring an ideal balance between collaboration and independence.

- Your educational institution is willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JDE Peet's and when joining our Research departments, also sign an NDA agreement for internships.
- You are either an EU(EEA) student residing in the Netherlands during the internship or a Non-EU(EEA) student enrolled and living in the Netherlands during the internship.
