Due to the success of our company we have an open position for a Procurement Specialist.
As our Procurement Specialist, your mission is to synchronize purchases and sales seamlessly, balancing service and costs across our supply chain. You are a strategic link between Purchasing, Sales, and Operations, ready to make an impact.
This is how you tackle your day. You:- Set up a forecasting method and align this with the planning tools in our ERP-system;
- Coordinate the best use of warehouses (internal/external) for overall stock management and reconciliation of WCSG;
- Forecast on necessary capacity on a 1/3/6 month outlook on inbound, outbound and storage;
- Manage different stakeholders, report the numbers, forecasts and other relevant input in easy-to-digest analyses;
- Find and adopt the right tools (software, ERP) to support the planning process;
- Identify process improvements and implement them on a project basis;
- Manage invoicing processes, process credit notes and oversee account setup to ensure accuracy of financial transactions and maintain effective accounting practices;
- Twice a year travel to US to connect with our operations there.
We are looking for a driven sales professional with experience in an international fast-paced environment. Eager to make this Procurement Specialist role a success.
Profile- A bachelor's degree (e.g. Economics);
- 4+ years of sales experience, ideally in a trading environment;
- Proven leadership and excellent analytical skills;
- Knowledge of purchase and sales channels and market developments;
- Knowledge of supply chain;
- Finance-savvy, with knowledge of cash usage (payments, creditors and stock level);
- Knowledge of debtors/creditors;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel;
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
