About the Team:
We are looking for a new colleague in the Group Tax department at our location in Amsterdam. As ZF’s global tax function we support and facilitate ZF’s global business operations by providing tax expertise for ongoing and planned business, as well as tax planning, structuring, support in corporate re-organizations and M&A, local tax audit support.

What you can look forward to as M&A Tax Specialist (f/m/d):

• Participation in planning and implementation of corporate reorganizations, carve outs and M&A projects, including tax due diligences, tax factbooks, contract negotiations for asset and share deals, joint venture establishments etc.
• Research related to tax structuring
• Participation in contract negotiations, review of tax clauses in investment and share purchase agreements
• Cooperation with other corporate and regional functions in the framework of international M&A projects
• Provide tax technical support and project management in all corporate tax areas including international tax and withholding tax questions, as well as transfer pricing, preferably with a focus on German (international) tax law, especially German CFC rules (AStG)

Your profile as M&A Tax Specialist (f/m/d):

• Ideally 2-4 years experience in an M&A Tax/ international tax role with an international advisory or law firm, multinational company or the tax administration; university graduates with outstanding results will be considered to be developed into the role
• University degree in law and/or economics; certified tax advisor; “Diplom-Finanzwirt”; postgraduate degree in international tax a plus
• Excellent knowledge of international taxation principles and at least one domestic tax system, preferably German tax law
• Self-reliant and initiative taking; entrepreneurial mindset; assertiveness and team player
• Excellent oral and written skills in the English language, German is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to occasionally go on business travel
