To start with, the position of Global IT Cloud Architect sits comfortably in JDE’s Infrastructure Center of Excellence (responsible for cloud, network, end user and infrastructure solutions). As a Cloud Architect you will focus on creating an end-to-end vision for JDE’s cloud services (for IT and for OT) and translation of this vision into solutions by working with internal & external stakeholders and partners. - apply technical knowledge and partner/stakeholder insights to develop an end-to-end vision on how JDE’s Cloud computing services will support its growth ambition
- develop a roadmap to translate this vision into tangible components for the Cloud environment
- setting up a Cloud Center of Excellence to rollout this vision along with JDE’s partners
- Ensure all solutions leverage the design and operations guidance according to the Well-Architected framework across all pillars
- Be the Voice of IT, share insights and best practices with business teams to remove blockers and help them maximize the usage of Cloud s

- Track record of Cloud services development at large global organizations
- Track record in Cloud Operations and Vendor relationships
- Experience in Designing complex global networking and infrastructure solutions in Azure and hybrid connectivity.
- Certification on Cloud technologies
- Proven track record in continuous improvement of Cloud services
- A personality that adds to and completes the Infrastructure Center of Excellence

Given the nature of the role we feel it's important for you to have a certain level of comfort with Cloud based architectures as well as a solid understanding of your own added value. We do, of course, take into consideration how much experience you have with (designing and developing Cloud solutions) and (working with partners to deliver the cloud services ) but ultimately, we look at the bigger picture.
