Senior Accountant/ financial account manager

For our client, an international boutique trust company in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Senior Accountant/Financial Account Manager.
Our client is a highly regarded provider of trust and corporate services for private clients, entrepreneurs, and family-owned businesses.
Our client operates as an international trust boutique with offices in key locations worldwide.

You will work in an international and dynamic environment for both corporate and private clients. The companies we manage are mainly Dutch, but some are also located in other jurisdictions. Besides corporate structures, we also manage and handle estate planning structures.

As a Senior Financial Account Manager, you will be handling and managing statutory bookkeeping, accounting, and tax compliance, as well as assisting in audits for various client companies. You will also be involved in transactions, changes, setup and restructuring, working closely with the legal account manager.

An important task of every member of the team is to understand the business of our clients and its full scope. Our clients appreciate a personal approach, high involvement, and dedication. Furthermore, you will also be involved in client acceptance for new clients, setting up new structures, and transaction monitoring.

Work Experience:
At least 5 years of work experience in financial services and/or the financial sector (preferably with a trust office). Knowledge of IFRS is an asset.

Personal Skills:
We are looking for a stress-resistant team player with a can-do mentality. Someone who has excellent organizational skills, an international mindset, and a hands-on approach. The ideal candidate is accurate, flexible, and responsible with a demonstrated ability to adapt positively to change. The candidate should have an excellent command of English and Dutch languages, both written and spoken.

You will work in the office (Amsterdam, The Netherlands) for a minimum of 3 days/week. Working from home is possible for 1 or 2 days/week. Own initiative and personal growth within the firm are highly appreciated.
