Vacaturebeschrijving

As a Process Analyst, you will operate at the intersection of R&D, operations, and the broader business. Your mission is to design, analyze, and optimize processes that enable teams across the company to work more efficiently, make better decisions, and scale effectively.

You will bring structure to complex, cross-functional workflows by analyzing data, identifying inefficiencies, and translating business needs into automated, measurable, and repeatable processes. This role has visibility across engineering, operations, finance, and leadership, and plays a key part in how the organization plans, executes, and improves.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building structures where little exists, and can translate business needs into automated, scalable analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze end-to-end business and operational processes across R&D and supporting functions.
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and gaps in workflows, data, and systems.
  • Design and automate workflows to track operational activities and workload.
  • Build dashboards and reporting to track key operational metrics and performance.
  • Define and implement documentation standards and best practices that drive consistency, clarity, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and leadership to implement scalable process improvements.
  • Drive automation and system integration by introducing new tools and improving connectivity across existing platforms (ERP, internal tools, reporting systems).
  • Support change management by helping teams adopt improved workflows and tools.
  • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and usability across systems.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems or Business-related field.
  • 5 years of experience in data analysis, process analysis, or business operations analytics.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Proven experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
  • Strong SQL skills and advanced Excel capabilities.
Skills & Abilities Required
  • Comfortable working in a business-facing role within a highly technical R&D organization.
  • Ability to translate business problems into automated, data-driven solutions.
  • Process-driven mindset with a strong ability to rapidly identify bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies.
  • Proven ability to build structure and visibility in complex, loosely connected environments.
  • Proven ability to design automated data pipelines and cross-system data integrations.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills, able to bridge business, engineering, and operational perspectives.
  • Highly autonomous, pragmatic, and solution focused.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in fast-growing startup environments.
  • Experience in high-tech, R&D, or engineering-driven organizations.
  • Process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN).
  • Experience with low-code automation and integration tools (e.g., Power Automate).
