RESPONSIBILITIES- Researching and identifying trends
- Creating collection concepts with moodboards and colourcards
- Translate upcoming trends into commercial collections
- High level of fabric- and yarn knowledge
- Guiding fitting sessions of prototypes and pre-production samples
- Preparing designs for digital presentations and supplier’s hand-over
- Perfect understanding and sourcing of qualities, washes, trims and details
- Experience from a similar position in women’s fashion design for at least 5-6 years
- Up-to-date with upcoming trends and market developments
- Excellent computer skills ( Illustrator/ Photoshop) and hand-drawn sketching
- Skills in Design are perfectly reflected in your portfolio, preferably supplemented with your own sketches in which we can clearly see your own handwriting
- Good knowledge of technical garment patterns
- Ability to work independently, a hands-on mentality and able to set priorities
- Business English fluency (both written and verbal)
- Ability to travel
