Global sourcing manager

In this role you will be responsible for setting up and implementing ICL’s global procurement strategy for key Process Equipment’s globally: Technical and Maintenance Equipment and generate reduction in the total cost of ownership. You will work closely together with internal stakeholders across the globe with major activities in Israel, Spain and Europe. Strategy execution, Global Agreements, Capex Experience are an utmost essential part of this Role.

• Identify, evaluate & select suppliers, negotiate and close framework-agreements of Global & EU region products and services under the Process, Technical & Maintenance Equipment sub-category.
• Drive product demand optimization throughout ICL via collaboration with the relevant ICL units.
• Train Buyers to achieve Operational Targets, while nurturing them to be future GSM’s, having them involved in Negotiation, Contract handling.
• Maintain and develop in-depth knowledge of suppliers, markets and trends.
• Perform best‑in‑class negotiation processes via analysis of supply & demand trends.
• Monitor performances of vendors and their compliance with their commitments.
• Build relationship with your global and regional (key) suppliers & actively manage them.

To be successful in this role you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent with demonstrable experience in understanding of engineering equipment, application in industry with the right amount of relevant procurement experience to bring high quality procurement to this role. Experience of 7‑10 years in MRO /Capex category with understanding of contractual terms & conditions is desirable with ability to showcase hands on experience in handling complex procurement initiatives.

• Understanding of MRO & Capex categories and related supply markets.
• Strong negotiation skills and result driven personality.
• Excellent interpersonal, business acumen, communication and supplier relations skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and in a matrix management style organization.
• Experience sourcing from LCC such as China, India, Vietnam, South Korea and other LCC countries is highly desirable.

Excellent command of English is required. Additional language skills such as Hebrew, German, Spanish or Dutch would be beneficial but not a mandatory condition to be considered for this role.

You will be based at our EU headquarters in Amsterdam, working on‑site for 4 fixed days per week, with the option to work remotely for 1 day.
