Product Manager (field service)

EEMC has been a specialized technical distributor for EMC shielding and thermal management for nearly 50 years. This includes thermal interface materials (TIMs) and EMC components, materials, and test and measurement equipment.

Like its sister company Elincom Electronics, EEMC is an established name in the market and we help customers in various sectors find the best solutions.

As a Product Manager EMC, you'll be the primary technical and commercial point of contact within your product group. This means you'll be responsible for products such as EMC filters for data and power, shielding materials like fingerstock and electrically conductive elastomers, as well as electrically conductive textiles, paints, sealants, tapes, and more. You'll effectively be the Benelux representative for these product manufacturers. These manufacturers are located worldwide, with a focus on Western Europe and the US. Each product manager has their own specialty and oversees the associated manufacturers.

You will visit and advise clients in the Netherlands and Belgium, primarily developers and engineers at machine and equipment manufacturers, both in the fields of industrial electronics and industrial automation.

You'll work independently, but you'll also be part of a team of eight product managers within the Elincom Group, two of whom will work specifically for EEMC. You'll also collaborate closely with the internal sales department. You'll work from home most of the time, with regular visits to customers and suppliers.

• Analyzing customer questions and identifying commercial opportunities
• Customer visits to discuss projects and provide technical advice
• Consult with international suppliers about project applications
• Together with the internal service, preparing and following up quotations, monitoring margins
• Follow up on leads from trade shows, websites and email inquiries
• Track and share new product developments with marketing communications

We're looking for someone with technical affinity and commercial talent. An ambitious professional who enjoys working in the field and building relationships.

• MBO+ or HBO work and thinking level
• Technical background (e.g. Electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or industrial automation), preferably familiar with EMC issues
• Commercial mindset and proactive attitude
• Good command of Dutch, practical knowledge of English and/or German is a plus

• A temporary contract (7 months) with the prospect of a permanent position (32 or 40 hours per week)
