We're looking for Operational Risk Manager to join our team in the Netherlands or from anywhere around Europe remotely (English required) . If you're seeking for a challenging projects in a start-up environment with high autonomy and ownership this offer is for you!
Responsibilities:
- Enhance operational risk management governance framework to encompass outsourcing arrangements within ZEN group
- Build operational risk management strategy aligned with ZEN's business objectives, its risk profile and regulatory requirements
- Define and monitor operational risk appetite levels and track risk incidents and exposure
- Identify and assess operational risk associated with current and proposed future business activities, including new products, new business relationships and any extension of operations including selection of outsourcing partners
- Ensure development, implementation and monitoring of risk mitigation plans and controls
- Communicate key risks and relevant recommendations to key stakeholders within the organization
- Establish Operational Risk Incident Register and build processes supporting swift remediation and prevention of future incidents
- Ensure creation and maintenace of Business Continuity Plans
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience working in Operational Risk Management within the finance or consulting industries
- Strong understanding of operational risks management frameworks as well as relevant laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills presenting risk matters in an understandable way across various forums and levels of the organization with the right level of detail
- Adaptable to working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Analytic thinker, with the ability to provide strategic directions and practical solutions
