What you will do

1. Identify locations and capitalize on opportunities for energy storage projects.
2. Guide tender and permit processes.
3. Develop and defend the business case.
4. Ensure grid connection and transport agreement with the grid operator.
5. Participate in discussions with RES-related parties about potential (re)purposing of locations.
6. Maintain clear agreements and involvement with the project team during realization.
7. Manage stakeholders involved in the project.
8. Lead the project development process, including our (international) colleagues and external partners.
9. Coordinate internally with the management for approvals and key decision-making.
10. Strategic funnel management; analyze which projects are interesting and think about how to secure more such projects.

This is you

We are looking for an experienced and creative project developer with an eye for identifying market opportunities. As a Senior Project Developer, you have the knowledge and connections with landowners, project developers, companies, governments, and local grid operators and know what it takes to successfully complete a project. Furthermore, you have:

• Knowledge and experience as a developer of large-scale wind/solar projects; experience with the development of battery systems is a plus.
• An active network with local grid operators and governments.
• A commercial and proactive mindset; both in the projects you undertake and in improving services with inspiring ideas.
• Strong conceptual thinking skills with creative insights; innovative solutions.
• An affinity for technology and an intrinsic motivation to make a sustainable impact.

• A competitive salary depending on knowledge and experience. Indication is around €85-95k per year based on full-time employment.
• Depending on your performance, you can earn a maximum of 20k additional bonus on your salary.
