About the Role
As a Developer at fonQ, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining the software that drives our business operations. You will work within the framework of fonQ's Tech policy and collaborate closely with other departments and colleagues to ensure our systems are efficient, reliable, and scalable. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, productive, and have a strong understanding of backend development with a focus on PHP.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver software solutions
- Apply solid principles and best practices in software development
- Contribute to the design and architecture of the overall system
Requirements
- Educational Background: HBO/WO level of education or equivalent working and thinking level.
- Professional Experience: 3-5 years of experience in software/web development, with a focus on PHP in a team environment. If you believe you can perform at this level without this specific experience, we encourage you to apply!
- Technical Skills: Experience with or willingness to occasionally work with other programming languages, particularly PHP & C#.
- Language Proficiency: Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Must be located in the Netherlands with ability to work without sponsorship.
