WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Credit Analyst, you will be mainly responsible for analyzing financial accounts to assess the creditworthiness of (wholesale) customers and predict whether they can meet their financial obligations. You will play a key role in managing the credit portfolio and optimizing the credit granting processes.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
- Assessing the creditworthiness of existing and potential (wholesale) customers by analyzing annual accounts, credit history, and preparing forecasts.
- Preparing annual reviews and proposals for new credit limits for Credit Committee and HQ Committees and presenting those in the different Committees.
- Proposing guarantees to be obtained from customers to support the proposed credit limits.
- Monitoring payment behavior of in particular wholesale customers.
- Preparing and managing contractual documentation for wholesale customers.
- Aligning with different internal stakeholders on profitability of customers, risk appetite, and new business initiatives.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
EDUCATION
- MBO/HBO degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Additional NIBE/SVV Commercial lending would be ideal, but not a must.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Comprehensive understanding of financial statements, ratios, and concepts.
- Analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
