Global IT Cloud Architect

To start with, the position of Global IT Cloud Architect sits comfortably in JDE’s Infrastructure Center of Excellence (responsible for cloud, network, end user and infrastructure solutions). As a Cloud Architect, you will focus on creating an end-to-end vision for JDE’s cloud services (for IT and for OT) and translating this vision into solutions by working with internal & external stakeholders and partners. For this, we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on your interpersonal skills as well as your drive for success. You will have a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain. With this said, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Apply technical knowledge and partner/stakeholder insights to develop an end-to-end vision on how JDE’s Cloud computing services will support its growth ambition.
• Develop a roadmap to translate this vision into tangible components for the Cloud environment.
• Set up a Cloud Center of Excellence to roll out this vision along with JDE’s partners.
• Ensure all solutions leverage the design and operations guidance according to the Well-Architected framework across all pillars.
• Be the Voice of IT, share insights and best practices with business teams to remove blockers and help them maximize the usage of Cloud services.
• Focus on optimizing the Cloud environment.
• Constantly evaluate technological advances and their applicability to JDE.

Here’s a list of our “nice to have” qualifications:

• Track record of Cloud services development at large global organizations.
• Experience in Cloud Operations and Vendor relationships.
• Experience designing complex global networking and infrastructure solutions in Azure and hybrid connectivity.
• Certification on Cloud technologies.
• Proven track record in continuous improvement of Cloud services.
• A personality that complements and enhances the Infrastructure Center of Excellence.
