The opportunity:

Flexport is looking for a Bill Processing Supervisor with revenue growing at breakneck speed. You’ll be responsible for managing a team that processes Flexport vendor bills, audits bills for accuracy, disputes with vendors, or sends for payment. You'll be working cross-functionally to identify areas of opportunity regarding our vendor/client billing practices and continually look for ways to improve our processing and audit process.

You will:

• Do whatever it takes to help our partners and customers to resolve billing-related questions and problems.
• Respond to account management, vendors, and internal departments' billing escalations.
• Manage a team of offshore associates.
• Provide tasks and responsibilities for team members.
• Manage team's KPIs, workload, and performance management.
• Negotiate disputes and handle vendor inquiries with our partners.
• Partner with vendors to improve billing practices.
• Continually look for ways to improve our audit and review processes.

You should have:

• 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience and knowledge of the freight forwarding industry.
• Knowledge of Ocean, Trucking, Air, and Partner contracts is a plus.
• Able to coach employees to achieve results; needs to be able to have patience in seeing the success of your employees.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Next-level attention to detail and follow-through.
