The Opportunity
Nimbl is famous for its world?'class, high?'performance cycling shoes used by over 180 professional riders. We treat shoes as a critical part of the rider's complete performance setup. We are seeking a specialist to drive the next generation of carbon sole development, focusing on power transfer, aerodynamics, lightweight construction, and rider dynamics.
About Your Job
- Carbon Innovation: Lead the development of advanced carbon fiber outsoles, optimizing the balance between stiffness, weight, and stack height.
- 3D CAD Modeling: Create complex 3D modules and prototypes for shoe soles using advanced CAD software.
- Deep understanding of cycling?'specific ergonomics and the performance requirements for high?'end road, MTB, and gravel apparel.
- Pro?'Level Testing: Refine designs based on feedback from World Tour riders to ensure measurable gains under extreme pressure.
- Integrated Design: Collaborate with the apparel team to ensure a seamless connection between the rider, the bike, and the shoes.
