About the role
We make games, puzzles and toys. And yes, that includes events that leave a lasting impression. No messy planning. No “who’s actually organising this?” Instead, tight planning and scripts, smart choices and events that are perfect down to the last detail. That's where you come in.
We organise quite a few events, on average, one every month. You own it all, from first idea to execution and wrap up. You are the hub within our Marketing team for the Benelux & Nordics and you also work closely with Sales, event agencies, partners and retailers. You make sure everything we do pops, makes sense and breathes Jumbo. You make sure the game can be played!
Events & activations
· You coordinate all events across the Benelux & Nordics (yes, every month)
· You take the lead with agencies, venues, suppliers and partners
· You create scripts that put calm at ease
· You manage & monitor timelines, budgets, details and deadlines
· You’re on the floor when needed (yes, also on weekends)
· You evaluate critically and make the next event better. Always.
Marketing & team support (also important)
· You provide support for (international) trade fairs
· You arrange samples, logistics and overview
· You keep our showrooms tidy and up to date
· You coordinate newsletters for trade and consumers
· You deliver clear input to our social media agency from all the events
· You see where things can be done smarter and say so
Who we’re looking for
· You have 2–4 years of relevant work experience (marketing, events or project coordination)
· You love structure and keep track of things
· You like to get things done even more.
· You don’t panic when multiple things happen at once
· You enjoy travelling within the Benelux & Nordics for the events
· Weekends? Regularly. No drama. Time off is compensated.
· You have a strong feel for brands, timing and detail
· Bonus points if you understand why playing is serious business
