Are you ready to shape the strategic backbone of one of the leading sportsbooks in the Netherlands? As Team Lead Trading, you will lead two key teams within the trading domain: Content and Risk. You define the trading strategy, guarantee excellence in execution, and ensure all processes run smoothly and reliably.
You are seen across the organisation as the authority on trading, from daily operations to long-term strategic direction. You can confidently and convincingly defend your strategy at management level while coaching your teams toward growth and high performance.
In this role, you directly influence profitability, competitiveness, and product innovation. You report to the Head of Sport and collaborate closely with Product, BI, CRM and strategic partners. As Team Lead Trading, you are the central force behind our trading strategy, operational structure and commercial performance.

- Taking full accountability for the trading strategy and domain-wide performance.
- Creating synergy and operational excellence between the Content and Risk teams.
- Driving continuous improvement across processes, quality, and commercial output.
- Confidently communicating and defending strategy at C-level.
- Maintaining governance, documentation and standards at an audit-ready level.
- Building a culture of ownership, expertise and collaboration.
- 8+ years of experience in sportsbook trading; 3+ years in leadership.
- Strong strategic thinker, with a sharp eye for operational detail.
- Excellent analytical skills and outstanding communication.
- Understanding of Online and Retail sportsbook dynamics is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch gambling legislation.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends.
- Office presence in Rijswijk required.
In your capacity as Team Lead Trading we offer you:
- a salary between €5.300,- and €7.800,- gross per month, depending on your experience.
- a full-time position for 40 hours per week.
