Vacaturebeschrijving


Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of tactical and operational pricing and reservation policies, with a primary focus on Rooms Division and a secondary focus on F&B, Banqueting, and other revenue streams.
  • Lead key projects and/or contribute to team management and development.


Main tasks

  • Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies based on market analysis, demand forecasting, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Continuously monitor and adjust pricing to align with market trends and business goals.
  • Adapt pricing strategies across all segments in response to market conditions and seasonal fluctuations.
  • Maximize revenue by optimizing performance across the most profitable distribution channels.
  • Manage and maintain inventory across segments to support revenue optimization.
  • Analyze historical data, market trends, and booking patterns to forecast future demand.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts to identify risks and opportunities, aiming to meet forecast accuracy targets.
  • Identify and communicate emerging trends, recommending strategic actions to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align promotional activities with pricing strategies.
  • Ensure all commercial team members and key stakeholders are fully informed about current pricing policies and promotions.
  • Maintain accurate data in all systems, including Opera, Opera Cloud, IDeaS, and Channel Manager.
  • Identify and document risks and opportunities in the demand calendar.
  • Actively contribute to the preparation and execution of the annual Budget.
  • Assist with Balanced Scorecard and Budget review processes.
  • Chair weekly Revenue Meetings, including preparation of minutes and follow-up.
  • Conduct month-end performance analysis.
  • Communicate and verify selling strategies with the Reservations team.
  • Work closely with Sales to analyze segmentation, pricing, and company productivity.
  • Monitor the Revenue Management System for anomalies and exceptions, and validate forecasts monthly.
  • Lead projects and provide coaching and guidance to other Revenue team members.
  • Manage the business holistically, with a focus on people, profit, quality, and customer experience.


LEONARDO HOTELS SHARED SERVICE OFFICE

A young, fresh, unconventional hotel chain that does things a little differently. That's Leonardo Hotels. A no-nonsense approach is what characterizes us. Leonardo Hotels operates in the Benelux and has 28 hotels. The employees of our Support Office carry out work related to their discipline for all these hotels. Sales, Marketing, Revenue, Finance, and Human Resources are centralized and work across the board for the hotels in the Benelux. A fixed workplace? Not for us! The employees in these departments regularly visit the various hotels and occasionally work in the Support Office at Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark. No two days are the same, which makes the work varied and challenging!

  • Strong prioritization and planning abilities, ensuring tasks are executed efficiently and in line with brand standards.
  • ·Proven ability to take ownership and lead system-related or analytical projects.
  • Capable of coaching and developing fellow Revenue team members.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident in influencing strategic decisions.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Persuasive, assertive, and capable of leading with conviction.
  • Inspires and motivates others to strive for continuous improvement.
  • Flexible and positive in adapting to change and new challenges.

Job requirements

  • Minimum HBO-level education or equivalent thinking level.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in revenue management within the hospitality industry.
  • Prior leadership or coaching experience is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Hotel PMS, RMS, and Channel Management systems.
