Born in 2021 from the desire to make cities less polluted and quieter, Electra is helping to shift usage towards electric mobility by tackling the main barrier: charging.

You are working in the Maintenance Team under the supervision of the Head of Maintenance.

As a Flying Doctor at Electra in the Netherlands, you play a key role in operating and supervising our own charging stations. You make sure to maintain an exceptional level of availability by taking care of our infrastructures, which we operate and optimize continuously.

You are the key technical expert for our stations: DC chargers, low- and high-voltage electrical installations, battery energy storage systems, connectivity and supervision… You have — or are developing — deep expertise in this equipment, and you are able to work completely independently or to supervise our partners during their operations.

As part of your mission, you spend a large portion of your time on the road, working directly on our Electra stations.

As the on-site technical lead for the Netherlands and Belgium — and occasionally the other Electra countries — you:

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on DC chargers, low- and high-voltage electrical installations, batteries, and connectivity systems.
• Perform regular visits to ensure our stations are operating perfectly, as true infrastructures that we take care of every day.
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve problems, both remotely and on site.
• Take part in the installation, commissioning, and retrofit activities of the stations.
• Organize, plan, and prioritize your own interventions, as well as those carried out by our partners, whom you oversee on a daily basis.
• Contribute to maintaining accurate technical documentation and tracking actions in our internal tools.

• You are based in the Netherlands, ideally in the center or south of the country.
• You are a trained electrician or have acquired strong electrical competencies.
• You have 3 years of experience in a similar position in the energy or electrical sector, an experience in the DC charging infrastructure for electric vehicles would be highly appreciated.
• You have electrical certifications.
• You are autonomous, meticulous, organized, and capable of managing your schedule as well as that of external partners.
• You speak Dutch and English, mastering one of the two and having a good working knowledge of the other.
• You are curious, you like to understand in depth how complex systems work, and you want to develop high-level expertise on charging stations and batteries.
• You enjoy working on the road and have a category B driver’s license.
