At our location in Sevenum, we provide logistical services to our many clients all over the world. A big team of operators and supply chain specialists works closely every day, within the departments Receiving, Picking, Packing, Shipping, Transportation, Customs, Inventory Control, and many more.
What will you do?
As a transportation coordinator at Arrow Electronics, you and your team ensure that the transportation process runs smoothly on the day-to-day operation. You will be overseeing the timely delivery of goods and services based on the shipping agreement. Your Team consists out of 6 people, and you will be working in three shifts.
Your main tasks include:
- Transport arrangements:
- Carrier pickups at the PDC, from couriers to full truck loads.
- Return shipments
- Customer correction
- Communicate with:
- Sales and asset, on shipment status
- Carriers
- Day to day shipment handling:
- Document creation (CMR, Truck loading list etc.)
- Follow up with shipping docks
- Interaction with customs team
- Follow up and check up on daily process.
- Drivers reception:
- Receipt of drivers
- Dock assigning
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with a passion for transportation. You have been happily working in this field for 2 to 5 years and you are looking for a new challenge. And in the back of your trunk you manage those skills:
- Good communication skills
- English language is a must , Dutch and German are pre
- Flexible in working with several shifts
- You are a service-oriented problem solver
