Create, lead, drive and implement the Global Medical Strategy for the Oncology category. This role contributes to creating a lasting impact in cancer care and includes leading the medical strategy, driving medical credibility, providing medical guidance and education, ensuring the highest standards of patient care through innovative partnerships and scientific‑based solutions. The Medical Director will work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive innovation and evidence generation, increase penetration and improve patient outcomes.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Strategy/Vision:
In line with Danone's ambition to grow the Specialized Nutrition business, it is key to drive the medical strategy for Oncology to drive category penetration and demand generation with a science‑based superior portfolio. Establish Nutricia as the leading partner for oncology HCPs.

Process & Projects
- To co‑build the global business strategy for Oncology and lead and implement the global medical affairs strategy.
- Engage and influence the external network to shape the category developments, drive awareness on the role of medical nutrition as integral part of healthcare and drive preference of our brands and science‑based portfolio
- Contribute as part of the cross‑functional teams to the innovation pipeline and evidence generation strategy
- Define and drive medical education plans and partnerships
- Drive the shift in oncology care by protocolizing screening and medical nutrition prescription through nutritional pathways.
Leading a team of category experts and working cross‑functionally (business and R&I) and connecting to external network.
