Key Account Executive - Benelux Wholesale

We are looking for a person that fits in our motivated and dynamic sales team in our Amsterdam HQ. You will work hand to hand with our Sales Manager to build the growth of the brand into Train, Sportswear, Global Football and Running environment. We are looking for a person with meaningful sales experience, preferably in the sports/lifestyle industry. This role requires a strong sales mindset, an entrepreneurial attitude and a great team spirit. You are ready to play a key role in making Under Armour one of the top sport brands in Benelux.

You will be focusing on our Benelux wholesale partners; Key Accounts, Buying Groups, Specialty and Field accounts. This will include ownership in account management, review and action on Sell Out performance, drive new business and drive the expansion of our focus category (Train, Sportswear, Global Football and Running) in line with the UA EMEA strategy. Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates account needs on an ongoing basis. Also, you will be working cross-functionally with our channel marketing team, our account service team, business operations team, planning and finance team.

Your Impact
  • Understand Under Armour overall - business unit and category objectives and strategies
  • Manage and develop Under Armour revenue with the account’s portfolio
  • Build relationships and deliver first class service level towards the accounts
  • Identify and convert business opportunities
  • Prepare and conduct sales presentations
  • Develop 3 years plan and negotiate yearly budgets with the accounts
  • Work hand to hand with marketing to deliver strong campaigns
  • Analyze sell out data to improve mutual business results throughout the season
  • Analyze the market within the Benelux region looking to key aspects and mapping the Running and Sportswear market
  • Excellent order management resulting in 100% delivery of the targets
  • Understand and apply the Under Armour segmentation and differentiation policy
  • Support the Sales Manager in different projects
  • Establish and maintain a strong internal communication and relationship with the line Managers and X-functions (account service, finance, planning, merchandising, marketing)
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Practice honesty and integrity in customer and vendor relations
  • Execute the go-to-market (GTM) process and preparation of seasonal touchpoints with the accounts (Sell Ins and Account meetings in UA showroom) to ensure the premium brand execution and management of these meetings.
  • Develop a Global Football and Running category Strategy in the Benelux region
  • Ensure excellent instore implementation of assortments
  • Visit accounts and retail stores on an ongoing basis to ensure premium in-store product story presentations, drive sell out and maintain account relationships.
Qualifications
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Highly self-motivated and well organized
  • Superior communication and persuasion skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • High affinity towards new digital sales tools
  • Fluent in Dutch
  • Very good communication skills in English
  • Team Player. Loves being part of a team, both leading and serving; demonstrated deep commitment to colleagues; highly effective in a matrix environment
