What will you do?
As an intern within our Category Management IT & Gaming team, you will support the optimisation and commercial performance of several product categories across both online and offline channels. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where data, consumer behaviour and commercial decision-making come together. We are looking for an enthusiastic Category Management Intern to join our IT & Gaming team at MediaMarkt from February to July.
You will be involved in tasks such as:
- Supporting online category optimisation for assortments such as Networking, Computer Mice & Keyboards, Storage and more
- Contributing to an offline project aimed at improving our in-store shelf layout and customer flow
- Assisting with B2B-related activities (e.g. Windows Pro laptops)
- Preparing reports and presentations in English for management
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement
Who are you?
- You are currently studying Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (HBO/WO or equivalent)
- You have strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
- You work accurately, independently and enjoy taking initiative
- You are comfortable communicating in English; Dutch is preferred
- You enjoy working in a dynamic environment
