Royal IHC is looking for a Project Logistics Coordinator to join their team.
As the Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for planning, monitoring and arranging national and international transports. The Logistics Coordinator is a key part of the Project Logistics department, which are handling all IHC units.
Within this role as Project Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Organizing (complex) transport for all kind of modalities, including the timely provision of related documents (customs forms, invoices, packing lists and payment documents).
- Advise on logistics aspects of tenders, L/C’s commercial agreements or complex logistics solutions.
To be eligible for this role, you must have the following:
- a secondary level of education (MBO)
- several years of experience within (project) logistics
- specialist knowledge of international transport, (complex) project shipments, related shipping documents, customs procedures / formalities and legal requirements
- knowledge in chartering (Bimco) contracts (not a must)
- negotiation skills and feeling comfortable with high value projects/shipments
- the ability to keep calm and keep an overview on the large variety of projects and orders
- a proactive, hands‑on and flexible approach
- the ability to take the initiative and come up with ideas to improve our processes
- excellent communication skills in English and Dutch, both verbal and written
- an EU work visa
- VCA certificate
