Our goal: provide the most reliable and highest‑rated fast‑charging customer experience, resulting in market leadership and strong financial returns.

The role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our Payments team, a key part of our strategy to drive effortless payment and reliable revenue collection. In this role you will play a pivotal role in shaping how our customers pay and how we collect and report revenue for all our payment touchpoints. You will be at the heart of our mission to make charging as easy as possible, ensuring every transaction, whether in‑app or on a payment terminal, is seamless, secure, and compliant.

You will lead the product vision and strategy for payments. Your work will directly impact Fastned’s growth and customer satisfaction, as well as our ability to scale across multiple markets. You will also be responsible for ensuring our payment solutions comply with local regulations, including fiscalization and reporting requirements, in the context of the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.

Your stakeholder landscape spans from other product teams (i.e. Those working on consumer apps, commercial proposition and charger connectivity) to Customer Service, Finance, local Country Management, and suppliers of payment terminals (POS), payment service providers (PSP) and compliance solutions.

What you’ll do
  • Own the end‑to‑end payment experience: Define and execute the product strategy for all payment touchpoints, including payment terminals, in‑app solutions, fraud prevention and regulatory compliance, ensuring a frictionless payment experience and reliable revenue collection.

  • Drive product roadmap and performance: develop and drive a clear, prioritized product roadmap, aligned with strategy, business goals and customer needs. Monitor and measure payments performance, relentlessly seeking opportunities to improve key metrics such as revenue capture, payment success and dunning success, while reducing manual intervention and errors.

  • User‑centric product development: develop a deep understanding of user needs, pain points, and behaviors through continuous discovery, experimentation, and delivery. Ensure that user insights drive product decisions, guiding the prioritization, validation, and delivery of solutions that make customers charge at Fastned. Continuously feed user learnings back into the product development lifecycle to create solutions that truly resonate.

  • Agile product team collaboration: work side‑by‑side with developers, testers, and designers within your scrum team and beyond, throughout the discovery and delivery process. Foster a culture of open communication, shared accountability, and rapid iteration. Ensure alignment within the team to deliver high‑quality outputs and outcomes that meet user and business needs.

  • Stakeholder collaboration: engage closely with key stakeholders, including business partners and other cross‑functional teams throughout the product lifecycle. Align on robust, scalable, and innovative proposition solutions. Clearly communicate roadmaps, initiatives, and results to ensure transparency and shared understanding.

Additional responsibilities
  • Independent research & experimentation: in collaboration with our UX and Engineering team, design and run research studies and experiments (quantitative and qualitative) to inform product direction and validate hypotheses, iterating quickly based on findings.

  • Leverage AI in your craft: rapidly experiment with and apply AI tools to solve business problems, automate processes, and uncover new opportunities. Use AI to analyze datasets, automate reporting, or prototype new features—bringing hands‑on experience beyond basic prompting and helping the team learn from your expertise.

  • Champion innovation: stay ahead of payment trends and emerging technologies in the EV space and related industries. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance our offerings and maintain our competitive edge. Be the sparring partner for Finance and commercial Growth teams to inspire and co‑create a payment experience that makes customers choose Fastned.

About you
  • 8+ years of digital product management experience, ideally in the Fintech or Mobility industry.

  • Possess a master's degree and bring strong analytical thinking, comfortable owning payment KPIs.

  • Bring a proven product track record driving and optimizing revenue collection, fraud prevention, POS and PSP integration and compliance, preferably in a scale‑up or larger org environment.

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager on an Agile scrum team, contribution to ceremonies and working with your team to translate business goals into product direction into detailed user stories.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to align cross‑functional teams and drive decision making through a strong senior landscape.

  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and eager to learn. You think and talk in terms of assumptions and validation, coaching this mindset to drive business outcomes through experimentation.

  • Demonstrated fluency with AI tools and rapid experimentation—able to independently leverage AI for ideation, analysis, process automation, and prototyping, and to guide others on best practices.

  • Deeply user‑centric; you actively seek out user insights and ensure customer needs are at the heart of your product decisions.
