• This role is Temporary (13 months). Full time, 76hrs/fortnight.
• The location for the role is Service Office, Tempe NSW where hybrid working including a minimum of 3 days in the Service Office is required.

About this work area
As Marketing Communications Leader, you will play a key role in executing the Marketing Communications Strategy. You'll work cross-functionally with Home Furnishing & Retail Design HF&RD, Communications and external agencies/partners to ensure a unified voice and maximise impact across all customer touchpoints.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Lead integrated campaigns and activities to deliver strong business, brand and consumer impact - brand desire, penetration, visitation and sales.
• Lead and manage Owned Social Media strategy, content calendar, influencer approach and agency team.
• Act as the Marketing Communications representative in the Commercial Calendar Group, and conduit for information through to the Marketing Communications team of content creators.
• Leading the development and execution of campaign briefs, working with our creative agency and in-house team of content creators.
• Evaluating marketing campaign performance, identifying opportunities for optimisations, and applying learnings to future activities.
• Contributing to an open and sharing climate, role-modelling IKEA values.
As Marketing Communications Leader (NZ Project) you are or have:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Marketing Communications, with proven results.
• Solid track record in briefing, creating and executing marketing communication strategies with creative agencies across multiple channels, including successful brand and commercial campaigns.
• Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire, collaborate, and build trust with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to understand and execute social media strategies, including best practices for audience engagement, growth and influencer strategy.
• Energetic and driven by the success and growth of the business, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Passionate about IKEA's values and motivated by delivering exceptional customer experiences.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
• Formal qualification in Marketing, Communications or equivalent.
• Working in-house or at a creative agency for minimum of 7 years.
• Proven experience in leading and executing exceptional integrated marketing national campaigns - bespoke and localising global content.
• Strong social media knowledge and understanding - managing channels such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical information into engaging content.
