The 51 is located just a 5-minute walk from Sloterdijk Station. We start the day with breakfast for our hotel guests. A perfect buffet to start your day, after this we transform the buffet into a lunch buffet for our team including head office staff member of The July. Our restaurant is a buzzing destination for after-work drinks and dinners. Whether it’s enjoying antipasti with a self-poured pint in our lounge or taking a seat in our restaurant for your favorite pizza bursting with flavor, we offer something for everyone. Oh, and queues at the bar? Not here. Our self-pour beer tap wall lets guests skip the wait and pour their own pint. Grab a drink, relax on our lounge sofas, or pull up a bar chair with friends. Our guests aren’t just locals and commuters—many come from our adjacent apartment hotel, staying with us from a few days to several months. This creates a unique opportunity to build meaningful connections and deliver personalized service. The Job
Set up and manage the breakfast buffet for hotel guests.
Oversee and prepare the lunch buffet for head office staff.
Keep the buffet fresh and exciting with seasonal ingredients.
Preparing pizzas and anti pasti during the evening shift.
Maintain food hygiene and safety standards.
Manage stock, order supplies, and minimize waste.
Keep the kitchen clean and organized.
Work as a team to ensure smooth operations.
Do you recognize yourself in the following?
Experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role.
Knowledge of breakfast cuisine, from classics to creative dishes.
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Great organizational and time-management skills.
Passion for quality food and attention to detail.
Food safety certification is a plus.
Available on Friday and Saturday mornings and 2 or 3 evening shifts.
