Over het werk
Your future employer is a relatively small, specialised, high-quality, and environmentally friendly production facility for processing organic cocoa. The facility processes organic cocoa beans sustainably into organic cocoa powder, butter, and mass.
There is an informal and friendly working atmosphere. You will be assigned to a team with whom you will work in a 5-shift system. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that production keeps running! Because it is a small and relatively new company, the atmosphere is positive and everyone is motivated to build the company together!
You are the final link in the production line. You place the finished products into boxes and bags using machines. The product is a powder made from the cocoa bean or the butter extracted from the fat in the core of the bean. As the last step in the line, you are responsible for packaging the product. The powder is packed in 25-kilogram bags. You attach these bags to the filling nozzle, which fills them with powder. After that, the bag is automatically sealed and released. The bag then falls onto the conveyor belt and moves to the next area, where it is checked for iron particles. This check must also be carried out by you or your colleagues. Once the final check is completed, the box or bag continues along the line and is placed on a pallet using a suction lifter.
You work in a 5-shift system. This means you work for 6 days and then have 4 days off. Keep in mind that this also means working weekends and public holidays. The working hours are: 05:45 - 14:15 or 13:45 - 22:15 or 21:45 - 06:15.
Because the factory operates 24/7, it can happen that gaps appear in the schedule when someone is sick or on vacation. That's why we are looking for someone who can fill in these extra shifts for us!

The factory is located in the Netherlands, on the sustainable business park Agriport A7, about 40 kilometers north of the port of Amsterdam the largest cocoa port in the world. They produce various types of cocoa butter, cocoa mass, and cocoa powder, each with its own color and flavor. This allows them to deliver exactly what is needed for your product.
