MEMS fabrication technician, working in an international, high-tech environment with impactful research in the field of MEMS electron Optics.
Job description
A technician role with responsibility for optimizing and executing MEMS clean-room processes such as (just to name a few): the wet-chemical cluster (wet etching, sample cleaning, lift-off etc), conductive and non-conductive coating, optical, laser and electron beam patterning/lithography and involved related processes, RIE and DRIE etching, stacking-aligning-gluing, wire bonding. Moreover, technician should work closely with PI's, PD's, PhD's and other colleagues to manage, improve and support the processes and to assist users. In addition, in a close and interactive collaboration with other clean-room members he or she should take part in:
- Managing and optimizing processes in the field of electron optics MEMS elements.
- Providing technical support to users (researchers, students, companies).
- Training and guiding new users (as discussed approved by the PI's).
- Contributing to the maintenance and reliability of the processes and equipments.

- A BSc or MSc in Chemistry, Physics, Process technology, or a comparable field.
- You are motivated to further develop your expertise in cleanroom engineering and technology.
- You have a passion for transferring knowledge to students and company employees for the use of our advanced systems.
- A proactive attitude in executing and improving processes to achieve the best results.
- Good communication and social skills to collaborate effectively with students, scientists, professors, and industrial researchers.
- You are a team player, open and honest, providing critical but constructive advice and thinking in a solution-oriented way.
- Good level of English (speaking in Dutch is a plus).
