Front Desk Assistant Ukraine Desk at IND

Vacaturebeschrijving Wat je gaat doen As a Desk Officer at the IND counters, you play a key role in supporting clients during their visit to our location. You are the first point of contact and assist clients with filling out forms, checking their documents, and directing them to the appropriate desk. With your knowledge of Ukrainian and English, you help clients feel understood and ensure the process runs smoothly. Additionally, you contribute to administrative tasks and support your colleagues where needed.

Your responsibilities include:

• Welcoming clients and verifying their identification documents
• Distributing forms and assisting with completion
• Referring clients to the correct desk after form verification
• Handling administrative tasks such as data processing
• Acting as a translator during conversations between desk staff and clients

Wat we je bieden

• Hourly wage between €18.38 and €22.85
• Pension accrual from day one
• 8.33% holiday allowance, of which 0.33% is net

• Minimum MBO-level education or equivalent work experience
• Affinity with refugees and their situation
• Excellent command of Ukrainian and English
• Dutch language skills are a plus
• Experience within a Ukraine unit is a plus
