We are looking for a forklift driver who can also handle sorting work for a logistics organization in the Roermond region. You will ensure that incoming packaging is processed smoothly and neatly—from unloading to sorting and moving.
As a forklift driver, you are indispensable in the logistics process. Your duties will include:
- Loading and unloading packaging from suppliers;
- Sorting and moving empty containers, crates, and bottles to the correct location;
- Working with the forklift and electric pallet truck (EPT);
- Maintaining contact with drivers upon arrival;
- Ensuring a clear and tidy site.

Waar ga je werken?You will be working for a client located in the Roermond region, which specializes in beverages. The atmosphere of the organization can be described as informal, open, and direct. The company has grown into a thriving family business with more than 160 enthusiastic employees. In addition to the logistics location, 30 trucks drive their routes daily to catering establishments, (beverage) wholesalers, liquor stores, supermarkets, and specialty shops. They have a range of 9,000 different beverages and a warehouse of approximately 15,000 m2.
You will be working in a team of 14 colleagues, including 4 forklift drivers. The location is well-organized, everyone knows each other, and is willing to help each other. Given its location in the immediate vicinity of the A73 motorway, the company is easily accessible from Roermond, Echt-Susteren, Sittard-Geleen, or Weert, for example.
Wie ben je?- You have experience operating a forklift truck;
- You enjoy physical work and like to get things done.
You are also available to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
Wat mag je verwachten?- A gross monthly salary of €2,688 to €2,795 including a 7.5% ADV allowance (based on 40 hours per week);
- A net travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer, starting at 10 kilometers one way;
- You will start through Olympia, and if both parties are satisfied, there is the prospect of a contract with the client;
- A 150% overtime allowance, which occurs occasionally. In addition, you can sometimes work extra hours on Saturdays at 200%, but this is also occasional and not mandatory;
- Working hours from 7:30 a.m. To 4:30 p.m., these are fixed working hours and therefore no unexpected shifts;
- Working in an informal organization where you will have a lot of contact with colleagues.
