Position: Marketing Specialist (Benelux & Nordics)
Reports to: Marketing Manager Benelux & Nordics
About the role
Are you ready to make our brands shine – both online and offline? As Marketing Specialist, you’ll take full ownership of a selection of Jumbo’s brands across the Benelux and Nordics. From strategy to execution, from campaign concept to retail catalogue — you’ll manage your brands full journey.
You translate global brand strategies into local plans that drive awareness, engagement and sales at retail. You’ll also make sure your brands perform at their best on all online platforms.
In this dynamic role, you’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager, the local Sales teams, Product Development, the brand team, and the local eCommerce manager. Together, you’ll make sure Jumbo’s brands are top of mind for retailers and consumers– no two days are the same.
What you’ll be working on:
Brand & Campaign Management
· Take ownership of your brand portfolio in Benelux & Nordics.
· Translate global brand strategies into local brand plans and activation strategies.
· Manage the local assortment: know your products inside out, select the right new launches together with commercial team, and ensure the best fit for your markets.
· Be a sparring partner for local and global teams, bringing in fresh ideas and creativity and ensure alignment across markets.
· Monitor brand performance, track results and adjust plans accordingly. Share insights with the sales teams and global team.
· Create and manage impactful campaigns, events & retail activations (ATL and BTL) in close collaboration with sales and e-commerce.
· Work closely with creative, media, influencer, event and activation agencies.
· Create presentations and sell-in decks for sales & retailers.
· Communicate plans, updates and best practices clearly across internal teams and external partners.
E-Commerce & Digital Marketing
· Ensure strong online visibility and conversion for your brands through optimised product content (via PIMS/Icecat).
· Execute retail media campaigns and product activations on Bol.com, Amazon and other key online partners, together with the local e-com manager.
· Align your brand presence across Jumbo’s local social channels in collaboration with our SoMe agency and fellow Marketing Specialists.
· Share and apply digital insights and best practices across markets.
What you bring to the team
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, Digital Commerce, or a related field.
· 2–4 years of experience in Marketing, Brand Management, or Digital Marketing.
· Hands-on with e-commerce platforms (Bol.com, Amazon or similar) and retail media campaigns.
· Affinity with social media management and content creation.
· Analytical and organisational skills; confident with Excel, PowerPoint and analytics tools.
· Experience in the toy, entertainment, or FMCG sector is a plus, but not mandatory.
