Do you like to stay active and enjoy working with a forklift? Then this job as a Forklift Operator / Production Worker in Ittervoort might be perfect for you! In this varied role, you’ll help produce high-quality animal feed and make sure the production process runs smoothly.
You’ll mix meat and other raw materials into the right recipe using modern mixing equipment, and you’ll use the forklift to move materials around the production area. No two days are the same — together with your team, you make sure production keeps running safely and efficiently.
Your tasks include:
- Operating the forklift to supply and move raw materials
- Operating mixing machines to create the correct mixtures
- Keeping your workstation clean and safe
- Recording production data
- Reporting any deviations or issues in the process
You’ll work in a 5-shift system with the following hours:
- 05:45 – 14:15
- 13:45 – 22:15
- 21:45 – 06:15
Each shift lasts 8.5 hours (8 paid hours). You’ll work six days in a row and then have four days off — a nice balance between work and free time.
Waar ga je werken?You’ll be working for a leading animal feed producer located in Ittervoort. The company is highly automated and uses modern machinery. The atmosphere is open and informal, and you’ll join a close-knit team of around 70 colleagues.
The production area can vary in temperature from cold to warm, depending on the process. The location is easily reachable from cities like Roermond, Weert, Venlo, Peel en Maas, Stein, and Sittard-Geleen.
Wie ben je?For the role of Forklift Operator / Production Worker, you bring:
- A valid forklift certificate
- Proven experience driving a forklift
- Good command of the Dutch language (for safety reasons)
- Willingness to work in a 5-shift system
As a Forklift Operator / Production Worker, you can count on:
- A starting salary between €14.50 and €16.00 gross per hour, depending on experience
- 28% shift allowance on every hour worked (average hourly rate between €18.00 and €19.20)
- Travel allowance of €0.19 per kilometer (from 10 km one way)
- Year-end bonus of 6% on top of your hourly wage
- Pension plan from day one via StiPP
- Work clothes and safety shoes provided by the company
- The opportunity to obtain your BHV (First Aid) certificate
- A temporary contract via Olympia, with the intention of a permanent position at the company after a successful period
