As a groundworker you work closely with the excavator operator, but you'll also step into the machine yourself from time to time. You'll make sure the correct digging level is set, monitor it, and step in where machines can't reach. This keeps the job varied and hands-on.

Your tasks include:

• Setting the correct digging level together with the foreman using a laser

• Checking depths and adjusting when necessary

• Manually digging trenches and ditches

• Installing pumps to keep the site dry and safe

• Monitoring water drainage throughout the project

• Working together with colleagues to deliver a safe and high-quality result

Working days and hours:

• Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00

• You start and finish directly on site (travel time is compensated if the day runs longer)

• You hold a valid VCA certificate (or are willing to obtain it through us)

• You are motivated, physically fit, and have a good sense of humor

• You have your own transport to reach Uithoorn

• You speak Dutch or English

• You feel at home in a down-to-earth, practical working culture
